The Director of Billing will oversee billing operations, provide leadership to the revenue cycle team, and ensure efficient processes around claims, collections, compliance, and reporting. This individual will play a key role in driving operational improvements while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities for the Director of Billing role:

• 
  
• Lead and mentor billing and revenue cycle teams to achieve operational goals
• 
  
• Oversee billing processes, collections, claims management, and denial resolution
• 
  
• Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
• 
  
• Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures
• 
  
• Partner with executive leadership on revenue cycle initiatives and reporting
• 
  
• Foster a collaborative, service-focused team environment
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Billing:

• 
  
• 5+ years of healthcare billing and revenue cycle experience
• 
  
• Leadership or management experience within a healthcare billing environment
• 
  
• Strong understanding of medical billing practices, claims processes, and collections
• 
  
• Experience working with insurance requirements and regulatory compliance
• 
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
•
