Location: Houston, Texas Full-time, direct hire opportunity (not a temporary position) Compensation: Starting at $185,000 base salary, plus a 20% annual performance bonus. Additional compensation may be available based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across the entire Americas region.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, serving as a trusted business partner.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with owners, EPC firms, industrial contractors, manufacturers, and other key decision-makers.
Lead business development process, from prospecting and opportunity identification through contract negotiations and successful project handoff.
Collaborate with internal operational and technical teams to develop competitive, customer-focused solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial strategies.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Represent the organization at customer meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry functions.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities.
Travel as needed to support customer relationships and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
10+ years of business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial leadership experience within the energy, industrial, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or technical services industries.
Demonstrated success developing new business and expanding strategic customer relationships.
Experience selling complex, project-based solutions or technical service offerings.
Strong understanding of long sales cycles, consultative selling, and enterprise-level account management.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
Highly organized with strong strategic planning and business development skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
