Description
GNR has been retained to identify a DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for an internationally renowned, 50+ year-old DEFENSE organization whose origins lie in advanced air defense system development.
You’ll play a significant role in growing the US market, specifically calling upon the NAVY & MARINE CORPS to capture new business for their extensive ELECTRONIC WARFARE portfolio.
- Proven Business Development experience specifically targeting NAVY - NAVSEA / NAVAIR, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) MCRDAC + Primes & Tier1 Defense partners for EW products
- Conduct market research to identify, pursue, & capture new business & potential partnerships
- Ability to think strategically and tactically execute on the new pursuits
- Experience facilitating the capture & proposals full-life cycle – you’ll have resources supporting the pursuit.
- 20-30% travel to customers, gov’t & military offices, trade shows, US & Int’l HQ
- Bachelor’s degree - prior military service is a plus.
- US Citizenship + current or ability to gain DoD clearance
OFFERING: Attractive base salary + bonus + strong benefits
LOCATION: Remote BUT strong preference to those residing in the DC/MD/VA region
