A Director of Cardiovascular Services opportunity is available in Thousand Oaks, CA with a 380+ bed acute care hospital that serves Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. The facility is the only Level II Trauma Center in East Ventura County and features a comprehensive stroke center, a heart and cardiovascular center, and a Level III NICU, among other specialty services.
The role. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of Cardiovascular Services holds overall accountability for the leadership, operations, and quality of all Cardiovascular departments, with the Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab reporting directly to this position. The Director partners closely with facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure all services meet regulatory requirements and guidelines, and collaborates with physicians to adopt quality initiatives and develop strategic and tactical plans — including capital and operational budget planning — to maximize the effectiveness of the service line. A core ongoing responsibility is maintaining the LA and Ventura County STEMI designation, Society of Chest Pain Centers Chest Pain Center accreditation, and The Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center designation and applicable county designations. Structural heart experience and strong leadership are essential to success in this role.

Compensation. $141,544 - $157,000 per year plus leadership bonus structure
