Conducts tours for members of the community as well as families, conducts pre-admission interviews with prospective residents/guarantors and explains all services of the nursing facility. Maintains ongoing communication with the media and contacts them when new programs, promotions, etc., are implemented within the facility. Develops and regularly updates the current file of media contacts. Keeps the Administrator informed of newspaper, radio and television accounts of noteworthy items of general interest that may have an impact on the facility or regulations that govern the facility.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS 2-4 years' experience in marketing/public relations in health care setting required; previous supervisory experience preferred.Bachelor's degree from accredited college with specialization in marketing, communications or equivalent preferredMust possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, community relations, etc., as they relate to nursing facility operationsAbility to make direct sales calls, and to organize and deliver public presentationsMust possess ability to establish, implement and maintain effective marketing and public relations program.Benefits:Medical insurance with Rx benefitsDental insuranceVision care401k retirement savings planPaid vacationSalary Range: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00* *The salary range is the one that Royal Palms Post Acute reasonably expects to pay for this position.
