    Director of Case Management – Las Vegas, NV

    Employment Type: Full-Time
    Schedule: Days | Rotating Weekends | 7x10-Hour Shifts
    Compensation: $135,004 – $202,555/year
    Annual Incentive Bonus: 17.5%
    Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
    Relocation Assistance: Available on a Case-by-Case Basis

    Overview

    A large Level II Trauma Center in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Director of Case Management to oversee enterprise-level care coordination, discharge planning, social work, and case management operations across a high-volume acute care hospital.

    This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational performance, clinical resource utilization, interdisciplinary collaboration, and regulatory compliance while leading a large case management infrastructure supporting inpatient, emergency, and post-acute patient populations.

    The ideal candidate is a highly strategic healthcare leader with strong physician relationship management skills, operational analytics experience, and the ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams in a complex acute care environment.

    • Nearly 88,000 annual ED visits
    • Over 215,000 outpatient visits annually
    • Oversight of:
      • Case Management
      • Social Work
      • Chaplain Services
    • Leadership structure includes:
      • 4 Case Management Managers
      • 1 Social Work Supervisor
      • Administrative support leadership
    • Approximately 110 FTEs across the department

    Responsibilities

    • Direct all operational aspects of hospital case management, care coordination, social work, and discharge planning services
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and documentation requirements
    • Lead staffing strategy, productivity management, onboarding, competency development, and departmental performance initiatives
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, physicians, nursing leadership, finance, legal, and ancillary departments to optimize patient throughput and continuity of care
    • Analyze operational and clinical data to identify opportunities for process improvement and resource optimization
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives related to patient flow, utilization management, and discharge efficiency
    • Lead interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality, financial, and patient satisfaction goals
    • Support organizational change management and performance improvement initiatives across multiple service lines

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Active RN, LCSW, or LMSW licensure
    • Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital case management experience
    • Minimum 2 years of case management leadership experience
    • Strong operational leadership, physician collaboration, and performance management experience

    Preferred

    • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
    • Experience leading large multidisciplinary case management departments
    • Background in trauma centers or large tertiary acute care hospitals
    • Strong data analysis and strategic planning experience
