Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Director of Consulting Services in the Energy industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise, leadership skills, and passion for the energy sector to make a significant impact on services for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with other members of the advisory team, along with sales, marketing and operations to deliver on complex utility-scale solar related implementation projects.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
3. Overseeing the execution of technical due diligence for our clients, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our findings.
4. Participating in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to help shape the future direction of our consulting services.
5. Providing thought leadership in the energy industry, staying abreast of industry trends and developments, and leveraging this knowledge to benefit our clients and our firm.
6. Ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through the delivery of top-tier consulting services.
7. Collaborating with other business units and teams within the company to develop integrated solutions for our clients.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 7 years of experience collaborating with or leading technical teams for engineering services within Renewables, Energy, Industrial Data, Instrumentation, or similar.
2. Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships.
3. Extensive experience in conducting technical due diligence, with a thorough understanding of the methodologies and processes involved.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and direct teams.
5. Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to contribute to executive-level strategic planning and decision-making.
6. A deep understanding of the energy industry, with a keen awareness of industry trends and developments.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences.
8. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a degree in energy or environmental studies would be an advantage.
9. Willingness to travel ~25% to client sites and industry events.
