We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Clinical Operations to provide clinical and operational leadership across a network of 3–4 facilities, including emergency care locations. This is a senior executive role for an experienced clinical leader who thrives in a multi-site environment and is passionate about elevating the standard of care at scale within a growing nonprofit organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce clinical standards and quality assurance protocols across all facilities
- Provide medical direction, protocol oversight, and mentorship to clinical staff
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflow optimization
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain all necessary licensure
- Partner with operations leadership to drive efficiency and mission alignment
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance development of clinical staff
Ideal Background:
- Advanced clinical degree required; additional certification a strong plus
- Significant experience operating in a multi-site or high-volume clinical setting
- Demonstrated leadership of clinical teams and operational systems
- Current knowledge of relevant laws, technologies, and industry trends
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment preferred
