Job Overview – Director of Clinical Operations
Compensation: $180,000 – $250,000/year
Location: Westchester County, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Director of Clinical Operations in Westchester County, NY for our client, supporting healthcare operations, clinical program management, and strategic growth initiatives. This leadership role oversees operational performance, financial management, quality improvement, and physician collaboration across a high-volume clinical service line. The ideal candidate has extensive healthcare operations experience and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while driving operational excellence and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities as the Director of Clinical Operations:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of a clinical service line while supporting strategic growth, operational efficiency, and organizational objectives.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting, financial performance, productivity, forecasting, and resource utilization while identifying opportunities to improve operational results.
  • Program Development: Lead strategic initiatives, business planning, and service line expansion while supporting new programs and operational improvements.
  • Quality & Compliance: Drive quality improvement initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
  • Physician & Team Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and administrative teams to enhance patient access, improve care delivery, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Leadership & Community Engagement: Develop high-performing teams while supporting business development, community outreach, and collaborative partnerships that expand access to care.

Qualifications for the Director of Clinical Operations:
  • Education: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, practice management, hospital administration, or clinical operations is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience supporting hospital operations, physician practice management, ambulatory services, procedural services, or other healthcare service lines is required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with healthcare financial management, budgeting, operational reporting, quality improvement initiatives, and electronic health record systems is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational and strategic initiatives are required.
