We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to lead our CPE program within a dynamic hospital setting. In this role, you will shape the spiritual formation of future chaplains — designing curriculum, supervising student interns, and upholding the highest standards of the ACPE.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, interview, & admit CPE student interns; provide supervision and evaluation
  • Develop and manage curriculum, handbooks, and educational goals for Level I & II CPE
  • Ensure program delivery in full compliance with ACPE standards
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, policies, and educational resources
  • Collaborate with the Chaplaincy team and serve on institutional committees
  • Develop on-call coverage plans in coordination with the Director of Pastoral Care
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree 
  • ACPE Certified Educator in good standing 
  • Board Certified Chaplain (APC, NACC, or Neshama) — preferred
  • Chaplaincy experience in a healthcare setting
  • CPE management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural, diverse staff and patient populations
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
