Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Community Day Services to lead our Charleston day program operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day programming, staff management, community engagement, transportation coordination, and compliance with regulatory standards - all while fostering a positive, respectful environment for the individuals we support. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of engaging and meaningful day programming.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of managers and direct support professionals.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective scheduling to meet program needs.
- Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure safe and timely access to programs.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and responsibility.
- Foster relationships with families, guardians, and community partners to enhance programming and collaboration.
- Utilize data and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in IDD services, day programs, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of community-based programming for individuals with IDD.
- Proven skills in team leadership, staff development, and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass all required background checks.
