Description

The Director of Construction will be responsible for:

• Reporting directly into the CEO
• Leading and managing all phases of high-end luxury residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Collaborating with architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Overseeing quality control and ensuring adherence to safety standards on-site.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Analyzing project performance and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
• Leading and mentoring project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Profile

The right candidate has the following qualifications:

• 15-20+ years of relevant experience
• Experience leading a team - will be overseeing 4 PMs & 4 APMs
• Must have strong leadership and communication skills
• A strong background in managing high-end luxury residential construction projects
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate project teams effectively
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with clients and stakeholders
• A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining top-tier quality
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
