My client is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to provide strategic leadership across project management operations. This role will focus on developing teams, improving processes, ensuring project success, and driving operational excellence across a portfolio of complex construction projects.

Description
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Establish and maintain operational standards, processes, and best practices
- Provide oversight across all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Support project teams with scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and client relations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align construction operations with company objectives
- Drive accountability, team engagement, and professional development initiatives
- Monitor project performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and results
- Assist with resource planning, staffing decisions, and organizational growth initiatives
- Conduct periodic site visits and support field operations as needed
Profile
- 15+ years of progressive construction industry experience
- Proven leadership experience managing project management teams
- Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery, and financial management
- Demonstrated success overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working directly with executive leadership and contributing to strategic decision-making
- Proficiency with industry-standard construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
