Director of Content

A growing creative company is seeking an experienced Director of Content to lead the planning, development, and execution of its content initiatives. This role will oversee the entire creative process—from concept to final delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, meet high creative standards, and effectively communicate the intended message.

The ideal candidate has experience managing full-scale creative projects, such as magazines, publications, or other content-heavy productions, and understands what it takes to move a project from idea to completion. While animation experience is not required, the successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating with illustrators, graphic designers, and animators to bring creative concepts to life.

This position requires someone who is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality. Familiarity with Jewish culture and the frum community is strongly preferred to ensure content resonates with the target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all content development from concept through final production

• Manage multiple creative projects and ensure deadlines are met

• Coordinate with graphic designers, illustrators, animators, writers, and other creative professionals

• Develop project timelines and ensure smooth execution across all stages of production

• Review creative work and maintain high editorial and visual standards

• Ensure content aligns with brand messaging and storytelling objectives

• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback throughout the production process

• Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively

• Identify opportunities to improve creative workflows and production efficiency

• Maintain consistent quality while managing multiple concurrent projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing creative or content projects from start to finish required

• Background in graphic design, publishing, editorial production, or related creative field preferred

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Excellent understanding of storytelling, visual communication, and content development

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong creative eye

• Experience coordinating with designers, illustrators, and creative teams

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Familiarity with Jewish products, culture, and the frum community strongly preferred

• Female candidates preferred
