Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the Contracts team while overseeing daily contract operations.
Negotiate, administer, and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and other commercial and government agreements throughout the full contract lifecycle.
Review solicitations, contract modifications, and agreements to identify risk, ensure compliance, and support proposal development.
Ensure timely processing of contract awards, modifications, funding actions, extensions, and closeouts.
Interpret contractual terms and advise leadership on risk, compliance, and business implications.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable government regulations while supporting contract purchasing system reviews and audits.
Partner with Program Management, Finance, and Business Development on contractual obligations, funding, billing, and new business opportunities.
Maintain contract records, company registrations, and contract management systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, contracting officers, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
10+ years of federal contract management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong experience managing FAR- and DFARS-based contracts from proposal through closeout.
Proven ability to negotiate and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
In-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations and contract compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Deltek Costpoint or a similar ERP system preferred.
Experience working with government contracting agencies and audits preferred.
Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
