SUMMARY

The Director of Corporate Finance is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and to develop and maintain accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. This positionreportstotheHead of EPC Finance, oranothermanagementpersonnelthattheCEOofthe Company may designate. This positionisHybridlocatedin ourHouston, TX office up to4days per weekand workinghoursareMonday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This positionisexpectedtotravelupto10%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close and support quarterly reviews and year-end audit;
  • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information as required by the management and the headquarter;
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payment transactions;
  • Supports budget and forecasting activities;
  • Analyze and interpret financial information that corporate executives need in order to make sound business decision;
  • Review vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payroll related expenses and activities;
  • Collaborates with the other team members to support overall department goals and objectives;
  • Works with non U.S. based parent company, subsidiaries and other affiliated companies;
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department;
  • Prepare reports on operating solar assets for management and related party investors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, or another related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
  • Speaking and writing capability in both English and Korean is required
  • Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting policies and practices
  • Experience working in a global company and interfacing with non U.S. based parent company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to develop process and procedures with little
  • direction in a fast pace and changing environment

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry or renewable energy projects a plus
