1. School Administrator/Principal Certicate or Certicate of Eligibility
2. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
3. Demonstrated expertise in: a. Curriculum development and instructional leadership (K-12) b. Assessment systems and data-informed decision-making c. Professional learning design and implementation d. Instructional technology integration and digital platforms e. Sta supervision, evaluation, and personnel management f. State and federal compliance, grants, and reporting
4. Demonstrated ability to lead district-wide instructional initiatives and manage complex systems
5. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Reports To: Superintendent of Schools Supervises: Assigned supervisory, teaching, instructional support, and related personnel Job Summary: To provide district-wide leadership and coordination in the ongoing development, implementation, and improvement of the District's instructional program, ensuring coherence among curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. Responsible For: Curriculum and instructional programming; assessment and evaluation; instructional delivery; professional learning and sta development; and instructional resources that support eective teaching and learning. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: A. Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Leadership

1. Lead the evaluation, revision, and alignment of district curriculum documents to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
2. Ensure horizontal and vertical articulation of curriculum across grade levels and content areas.
3. Coordinate the development, publication, and maintenance of curriculum guides and instructional resources.
4. Establish and oversee systems for the ongoing evaluation of instructional practices.
5. Assist principals in planning, supervising, and interpreting district and state assessment programs.
6. Lead district assessment initiatives and ensure compliance with state testing requirements.
7. Analyze instructional and assessment data to inform program improvement and district decision-making. B. Professional Learning & Instructional Coaching The Director shall:
8. Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive professional learning program aligned to district goals.
9. Provide leadership in evidence-based instructional practices and pedagogical improvement.
10. Observe and evaluate certicated sta and provide actionable feedback to enhance teaching and learning.
11. Lead professional learning committees and district instructional initiatives as assigned.
12. Support the implementation of new instructional programs and initiatives through targeted professional development.
13. Recommend professional growth opportunities, conferences, and training aligned to district priorities. C. Instructional Technology, Platforms & Digital Learning Systems The Director shall:
14. Provide leadership in the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the district's instructional technology plan.
15. Oversee the selection, implementation, and instructional use of digital platforms, instructional software, and online services.
16. Serve as the Articial Intelligence Coordinator in implementing the District's Acceptable Use of Generative A.I. Policy as well as the District's Articial Intelligence Plan.
17. Ensure instructional technology initiatives align with curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment

18. Maintain a district inventory and catalog of instructional software and digital resources.
19. Collaborate with media specialists, technology sta, and administrators to ensure equitable access to instructional tools.
20. Provide professional learning that integrates technology to enhance student engagement and achievement.
21. Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging instructional technologies and digital learning models. D. Instructional Innovation & Program Development The Director shall:
22. Identify, pilot, monitor, and evaluate instructional and digital initiatives to improve student outcomes.
23. Coordinate district implementation of new instructional and digital programs.
24. Monitor implementation delity and instructional impact of adopted initiatives. E. Personnel, Budget & Compliance The Director shall:
25. Assist in the recruitment, selection, placement, and induction of certicated sta.
26. Assist in the development and oversight of budgets related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and instructional technology.
27. Prepare, submit, and manage state and federal reports and instructional grants.
28. Provide leadership in the development and revision of board policies related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and instructional technology.
29. Serve as a member of the Superintendent's administrative team and Board committees as assigned.
30. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or required by law, regulation, or board policy.
