Director of Development College of Arts & Sciences
The Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences serves as a strategic fundraising leader advancing the Texas A&M Foundations philanthropic mission in support of the colleges academic, research, and student success priorities. This position works closely with college leadership, department heads, faculty, alumni, donors, and Foundation colleagues to identify and pursue transformational philanthropic opportunities that strengthen the College of Arts & Sciences and its impact on Texas A&M University.
This position is based on site in College Station, fostering strong collaboration with campus partners while supporting donor engagement throughout Texas and beyond. The Director of Development is responsible for managing a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, building meaningful relationships that result in philanthropic investments supporting scholarships, faculty excellence, research initiatives, student experiences, and other strategic priorities across the College of Arts & Sciences.

What you'll do...
As the Director of Development College of Arts & Sciences, you will serve as an ambassador of the Texas A&M Foundation and the College of Arts & Sciences by connecting donor interests with institutional priorities. In this role, you will:
Develop and execute strategic fundraising plans aligned with the College of Arts & Sciences' priorities and advancement goals.Build and manage a portfolio of major and principal gift donors and prospects through strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.Secure philanthropic support for scholarships, faculty excellence, research programs, student success initiatives, capital projects, and other strategic opportunities.Partner closely with college leadership, department heads, faculty, and Foundation colleagues to identify and advance fundraising opportunities.Conduct donor visits and meaningful engagement activities designed to strengthen relationships and increase philanthropic investment.Prepare donor correspondence, gift proposals, stewardship reports, and presentations that communicate impact and opportunities for support.Lead stewardship efforts to ensure donors remain informed, engaged, and connected to the outcomes of their philanthropy.Represent the Texas A&M Foundation and the College of Arts & Sciences at donor meetings, university events, and regional engagement activities.Maintain accurate donor records and activity reporting while utilizing Foundation systems to support fundraising efforts and strategic planning.

What we require...
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 3+ years of fundraising experience, including major gift solicitation, or equivalent experience in sales, business development, or relationship management with demonstrated success.Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated success developing and executing strategies that result in meaningful outcomes.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Commitment to the mission, values, and goals of the Texas A&M Foundation and the College of Arts & Sciences.Willingness and ability to travel in support of donor engagement activities.
