Description

We are partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit seeking a Director of Development to lead and expand its fundraising efforts for their NY chapter. The Director of Development will be responsible for fundraising, donor engagement, and revenue growth. The Director of Development will play a key role in the strategy and implementation of a fundraising plan, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and major gifts.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive multi‑year development strategyLead major gifts strategy, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high‑net‑worth donorsIdentify and secure new funding opportunities from individuals, foundations, and corporate partnersBuild a sustainable pipeline of major donors and long‑term philanthropic partnersPartner with management and leadership to establish annual revenue goals and track performanceManage and grow a portfolio of key donors, prospects, and community leaders with focus on major givingBuild meaningful, long‑term relationships through personalized engagement and stewardshipOrganize donor meetings, cultivation events, and stewardship initiativesSupport and guide board members and lay leaders in fundraising effortsStrengthen planned giving and legacy giving initiativesSupport fundraising at events, including galas, luncheons, and special programsLeverage events to deepen engagement and expand the donor baseEnsure best practices in donor stewardship and compliance with nonprofit standardsRequirements7+ years related experienceProven track record of securing giftsExperience working with boards, high‑net‑worth donors, and philanthropic networksPreferred SkillsAdvanced degree or CFRECompensationSalary range: $115,000-140,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
