Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively partnering with a prominent and well respected nonprofit to find a Director of Development. This relationship-driven fundraising leader will play a key role in advancing the organization's mission through major gifts, capital campaigns, annual giving, planned giving, and donor stewardship. This is an exciting opportunity to help support families in Central Arkansas while leading meaningful philanthropic growth for a beloved nonprofit organization.
What You'll Do:
Work with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Philanthropy Officer to create, develop, and implement strategic annual fundraising plans, priorities, and budget for Little Rock programs in alignment with the strategic plan.
Analyze fundraising data and reporting to track progress toward goals and adjust strategy as needed.
Help lead efforts to raise $1 million+ annually.
Steward donor relationships to build ongoing and growing sources of funding and brand awareness.
Lead and support capital campaigns in Central Arkansas in partnership with the CEO and CPO.
Work with the CPO to establish and implement a formal major gifts program, including identifying, cultivating, securing, and retaining donors giving $5,000+.
Create and execute planned giving initiatives.
Identify new sources of revenue and potential revenue streams.
Work with the Development Committee Chair to plan agendas and support the committee in achieving strategic goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven success in nonprofit fundraising, including major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and special events.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers.
Experience with fundraising software and donor databases.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results.
