Description
Job Summary
The Director of Education Programs and Assistant Professor provides leadership and administration for educational programs while ensuring academic quality, accreditation, and successful program delivery. This role manages education initiatives, oversees faculty and staff, collaborates with educational institutions, supports student success, manages budgets and contracts, and teaches university-level courses.
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct and manage educational programs and academic operations.
Maintain program quality and accreditation standards.
Oversee dual enrollment and secondary education programs.
Develop partnerships with public, private, and charter schools.
Serve as the primary liaison between educational institutions and stakeholders.
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate faculty and program staff.
Provide academic guidance and support to students.
Oversee program contracts, budgets, and administrative operations.
Monitor program effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
Teach university-level courses as an Assistant Professor.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and academic standards.
Support curriculum development and educational initiatives.
Requirements
Master's degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
5–10 years of related education program management experience.
Experience in secondary career and technical education.
Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
Experience managing faculty, educational programs, and academic operations.
Excellent communication, public relations, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and information systems.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in Education, Engineering, or an Aerospace-related field is preferred.
