    Director of Employee Experience & Culture

    Brooklyn, NY
    $100,000–$150,000

    We are seeking a Director of Employee Experience & Culture to create an exceptional employee journey that inspires people to do their best work every day. This role is responsible for building a culture of hospitality, engagement, recognition, and development while overseeing the core HR functions that support a growing, multi-site organization.

    Responsibilities

    Design and lead employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives that create an outstanding workplace.

    Build a best-in-class onboarding experience that sets employees up for success from day one.

    Develop training and leadership programs that promote professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

    Partner with managers to coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

    Create programs that strengthen employee satisfaction, retention, and overall experience.

    Foster a culture centered on hospitality, teamwork, service, and continuous improvement.

    Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.

    Lead employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and policy implementation.

    Build scalable people processes, systems, and reporting that support company growth.

    Partner with executive leadership to align people strategy with business goals.

    Requirements

    5+ years of leadership experience in Employee Experience, People & Culture, Hospitality, or Human Resources.

    Proven experience creating employee engagement, recognition, training, or culture-building programs.

    Background in hospitality, luxury service, facilities services, property management, or another customer-focused industry strongly preferred.

    Experience leading teams in a multi-site environment.

    Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

    Solid understanding of employee relations, HR compliance, payroll oversight, benefits, and performance management.

    Passion for creating an exceptional employee experience that translates into outstanding client service.

    Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
