    Director of Engineering / Project Execution

    Location: Denver, CO 
    Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 Base + Bonus + Long-Term Incentives
     

    About the Opportunity

    We are partnering with a growing energy infrastructure organization seeking a Director of Engineering / Project Execution to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects across liquid pipeline, storage terminal, and related infrastructure assets.

    This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for driving engineering excellence, project execution, contractor management, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of technical expertise, project leadership, and operational understanding within the energy infrastructure sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead engineering and project execution efforts for pipeline, terminal, storage, and related infrastructure projects.

    • Manage projects from concept development through engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.

    • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and quality performance.

    • Direct engineering, project management, and field execution teams.

    • Manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and construction partners.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.

    • Develop project execution strategies, governance processes, and best practices.

    • Partner with operations, commercial, HSE, and executive leadership teams to ensure successful project delivery.

    • Support strategic growth initiatives, project evaluations, and capital planning activities.

    • Mentor and develop engineering and project management personnel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.

    • 12+ years of progressive experience within energy infrastructure, midstream, industrial, or related sectors.

    • Demonstrated success leading large capital projects from concept through commissioning.

    • Strong experience with pipeline systems, terminals, storage facilities, or similar infrastructure assets.

    • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.

    • Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Knowledge of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification preferred.
