The Director of Enterprise Safety & Strategic Operations serves as IOA's enterprise leader for client and team member safety, emergency preparedness, workplace violence prevention, incident management, and organizational readiness.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining organization-wide safety programs that protect IOA clients, employees, volunteers, and visitors across all service lines.
The Director works closely with the Vice President of Quality & Performance Excellence (QPE), Vice Presidents of Operations, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Facilities, and Communications to create a culture of safety, preparedness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Director serves as IOA's designated Incident Commander and leads the organization's emergency preparedness, incident command, client safety, employee safety, incident reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and workplace violence prevention programs.
In addition, the Director serves as a strategic operational resource to the Chief Operating Officer by leading complex organizational initiatives and, when appropriate, providing interim operational leadership for smaller divisions during leadership transitions.

Range: $170,000 to $185,000/annual
