Director of Environmental Services (Full-time)

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing has an opportunity for an Experienced Director of Environmental Services.

Primary Functions (including but not limited to):

• Supervise all personnel in the Environmental Services Dept.
• Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnel
• Regular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performance
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness & Safety throughout Facility grounds.
• Plan/coordinate work schedules and assign staff to established work areas & duties.
• Schedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairs
• Maintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections
• Assign equipment to staff; monitor daily equipment use, cleaning & maintenance.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Follow Facility Guidelines and Departmental Policies/Procedures
• Infection Control Policies/Procedures
• Safety/Fire/Disaster/OSHA/Mutual Aid Planning
• Quality Assurance Practices
• NYSDOH Standards
• Strong stress management skills are required.
• Provide individual guidance & motivation to employees.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.

EXPERIENCE:

· Previous management experience in a skilled nursing facility

Salary: $85,000.00 per year
