Overview:
The Director of ERP Systems is a forward-thinking technology leader responsible for driving enterprise system strategy, integrations, and the rollout of AI-enabled business capabilities across the organization. This individual will oversee multiple ERP platforms and connected enterprise applications, ensuring seamless business process automation and operational excellence.

The position reports to the VP of IT, Business Technology Solutions and partners closely with business unit leaders, finance, and operations to align technology outcomes with corporate objectives.

What You'll Do:
Enterprise Platforms and Integrations
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for ERP, enterprise applications and related business platforms.
  • Oversee system stability, performance, and modernization initiatives across multiple manufacturing and distribution businesses.
  • Direct cross-functional teams to implement and optimize ERP systems and middleware integrations connecting customer, manufacturing, logistics, and financial platforms.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify, design, and deliver automation across the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and plan-to-produce processes.
  • Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors for enterprise systems, integration middleware, and related technology tools.
Process Optimization and Delivery Excellence
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean and/or similar frameworks to streamline business processes.
  • Lead large-scale implementations and complex projects with a disciplined approach to governance, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ERP, integration, and AI professionals.
  • Build strong partnerships with executive stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales.
  • Represent IT as a trusted business partner and change agent focused on enabling growth and efficiency.
  • Model strategic thinking, accountability, and the ability to execute with precision and urgency.

Your Skills and Expertise:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with extensive exposure to enterprise applications and system integrations.
  • Proven record of managing complex ERP environments and transformation projects.
  • Experience delivering automation and AI initiatives that improve business outcomes.
  • Strong business process knowledge across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and logistics functions.
  • Exceptional ability to lead through influence, set direction, and deliver results in a matrixed organization.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:
  • Experience in manufacturing or multi-entity enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in data analytics, middleware, and API-led integration frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Six Sigma.
  • Exposure to cloud ERP systems and modern AI/ML platforms.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and change leadership skills.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $190,000 to $210,000
