Your Impact:
As Director of Estimating, you will lead the estimating team while shaping the company’s growth strategy through disciplined pursuit planning, strong processes, and team development.
- Lead the Team: Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing estimating department focused on accuracy, consistency, and collaboration.
- Own the Process: Develop, maintain, and refine estimating SOPs, standards, and workflows that support scalability and informed decision‑making.
- Drive Strategy: Oversee bid strategies, pursuit planning, and go/no‑go decisions to ensure profitable and competitive opportunities.
- Ensure Accuracy: Guide the preparation of detailed cost models, scopes of work, and purchasing goals across all projects.
- Manage Resources: Allocate to the estimating team and expertise effectively to balance workload, capacity, and employee well‑being.
- Enhance Systems: Lead implementation and optimization of estimating software, databases, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate Broadly: Partner with operations, preconstruction, market leaders, and executive leadership throughout the pursuit process.
