SummaryThe Director of Facilities & Maintenance oversees the operation, maintenance, and long-term care of all Black Butte Ranch buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. This role leads a team to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting guest satisfaction and asset preservation. The Director also manages capital projects, budgets, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of facilities and maintenance teams Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs Plan and execute capital improvement projects Manage departmental budgets and forecast long-term needs Ensure all systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural) operate safely and efficiently Oversee construction, renovation, and repair projects Maintain compliance with OSHA, building codes, and environmental regulations Manage vendor relationships and service contracts Lead, train, and develop team members Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred 7+ years of facilities management experience, ideally in hospitality or resort operations Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations Experience with capital planning and project management Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
