Our client is seeking a hands-on Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance, safety, and physical operations of a senior living community in Western South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility operations
Lead and develop the maintenance team
Ensure buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas are safe and well-maintained
Manage preventative maintenance programs and vendor relationships
Oversee facility-related budgets and expenses
Ensure compliance with safety, fire, building, and regulatory requirements
Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts
Support capital projects and community improvements
Qualifications:
Previous facilities or maintenance leadership experience
Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial property experience preferred
Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage staff, contractors, and vendors effectively
