    This is an opportunity for a proven business development professional with an established network of Federal-focused clients. As Associate Director or Director of Federal Business Development, you will lead OCMI's growth within the Federal market by developing strategic client relationships, identifying and capturing new opportunities, and expanding our network of Federal agencies, architecture and engineering firms, and industry partners. Working closely with executive leadership, technical professionals, and marketing, you will help position OCMI as both a prime consultant and valued teaming partner across the Federal AEC market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute OCMI's Federal business development strategy to expand the firm's presence with Federal agencies, architecture/engineering firms, contractors, and strategic teaming partners.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Federal clients and industry partners, serving as OCMI's primary representative within the Federal market.
    • Identify, qualify, and lead capture efforts for Federal opportunities, including developing teaming strategies, supporting go/no-go decisions, and positioning the firm for successful pursuits.
    • Collaborate with technical leadership and the Marketing team to develop Federal marketing materials, qualifications packages, proposals, presentations, and interview strategies.
    • Represent OCMI at industry conferences, client meetings, association events, and networking functions to strengthen the firm's visibility and relationships.
    • Lead monthly Federal business development meetings and provide executive leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations.
    • Maintain accurate opportunity, client, and pursuit information within the firm's CRM.
    • Mentor technical staff on client engagement, relationship management, and business development best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of business development, capture management, or client development experience within the Federal AEC industry.
    • Demonstrated success developing and winning Federal professional services contracts.
    • Existing relationships with Federal agencies, architecture and engineering firms, contractors, and industry organizations.
    • Strong understanding of Federal acquisition regulations, qualifications-based procurement, IDIQ contracts, and Federal contracting practices.
    • Ability to develop influence across multiple offices and technical disciplines.
    • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills.
    • Experience with CRM platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint), Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Smartsheet highly preferred
    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
    • Willingness to travel nationally.

    Compensation: $150,000 - $185,000
