We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to oversee our company's financial operations and to guide key strategic decisions. This role will involve making critical financial decisions that will promote profitability, increase efficiency, and drive growth. You will be responsible for creating financial reports, direct investment activities, and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of our organization. The ideal candidate is a leader who can create financial policies and procedures to ensure the overall financial health of the organization.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee, direct, and manage the company's financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company’s overall goals.
3. Conduct analysis of financial risks and market conditions and provide strategic recommendations.
4. Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and financial position forecasts.
5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
6. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
7. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
8. Develop and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, board members, potential investors, and financial institutions.
9. Supervise a team of finance personnel.
10. Evaluate and manage company investments and financial assets for long-term financial gain.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA is strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
4. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audience.
7. High proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
8. Strong analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
10. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
