Director of Finance | 100% REMOTE | $150,000–$180,000

If you’re an experienced nonprofit finance leader who wants broad ownership across accounting, budgeting, grants, compliance, and financial operations, this is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role with a national nonprofit organization.

Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: Eastern Time business hours

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the organization’s accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and operational finance
Oversee the annual audit process and ensure strong financial controls and compliance
Manage grant accounting, reporting, and related compliance requirements
Partner with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and long-term decision-making
Provide financial oversight across a nonprofit organization with an annual budget in the $10M–$20M range
Support the financial operations of a pass-through nonprofit environment
Improve financial processes, reporting, and overall visibility across the organization

Who We’re Looking For

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Significant experience working within the nonprofit sector
Experience supporting or leading finance for a nonprofit with a $10M–$20M annual budget
Strong budgeting, forecasting, audit, and financial reporting experience
Hands-on grant accounting and compliance experience
Experience with nonprofit operational and financial oversight
CPA strongly preferred
Ability to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours

Compensation

$150,000–$180,000 base salary
100% remote opportunity
