Introduction

Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of the job is to direct and coordinate the fiscal activities, including accounting, budgeting, and auditing, for the division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (O&P) and its 25 regulatory programs. This role assists in developing, planning, and managing an indirect cost allocation plan for the Division while providing guidance to the Office of the Commissioner on all budgetary items. It also supervises finance employees within the division.
POSITION DUTIES
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelorâs degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other financially-related field. 2 years of direct supervisory
Experience: Must have 1 year of experience managing a government program or other organizational program and one year of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, plans, and programs, including accounting, budgeting, and auditing experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience preparing and overseeing budgets
