Position Overview


The Director of Finance will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic planning. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing insights that support operational improvements and long-term company objectives.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and operational teams

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term planning initiatives

  • Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, productivity, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to support business growth

  • Prepare and present financial reporting and key performance indicators to senior management

  • Manage, mentor, and develop members of the finance team

  • Support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and business improvement projects


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and operational finance

  • Proven experience leading teams and partnering with senior leadership

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement

  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
