LSCO publishes an Annual Security Report that provides information regarding campus Safety & Security, including topics such as crime reporting policies, information regarding programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking, the procedures the College will follow when one of these crimes is reported, and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes.

Job Summary
The Director of Financial Aid reports to the Assistant Vice President of Student and Enrollment Services. The Director is responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Financial Aid Office, including the administration of all financial aid and veterans' education benefit programs. The Director provides vision and direction for the administrative and operational activities of a forward-facing, student-centered Financial Aid Office and collaborates with Admissions, Recruiting, Advising, Records, Academic Affairs, and the Business Office to develop enrollment management strategies that improve access, reduce financial barriers, and support student success.
This position is security sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following.

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications
Education
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
Requires two to four years' experience in all aspects of college student financial aid administration, or similar jobs.
