  • Manage a large team of maintenance personnel across the Southeastern U.S., fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

  • Oversee preventative maintenance, repair operations, and vendor relationships to keep our fleet running efficiently.

  • Drive cost -saving initiatives, perform detailed ROI analyses, and make strategic recommendations to leadership.

  • Ensure strict compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations.
    <\/li>
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and develop staff, maintaining high standards of service and safety.

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Education<\/b>: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
      <\/li>
    • Experience<\/b>: 10+ years in diesel maintenance or shop management, with a strong technical or mechanical background. At least 10 years managing teams of 20+ technicians and administrative staff.
      <\/li>
    • Certifications<\/b>: Minimum of three key diesel certifications.
      <\/li>
    • Technical Skills<\/b>: Advanced knowledge of maintenance systems like TMW and TMT. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
      <\/li>
    • Leadership<\/b>: Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and high performance.
      <\/li>
    • Analytical Skills<\/b>: Strong cost management, root cause analysis abilities, and experience in developing action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
      <\/li>
    • Licensing<\/b>: Active Class D driver’s license required; Class A license preferred.
      <\/li>
    • Additional Skills<\/b>: Ability to manage multiple projects, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong communication abilities for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
