Director of Food & Beverage

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 USD / year
  • Bonus: Up to 30%
  • Medical/Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid on base plan
  • Relocation Assistance: Included
  • Temporary Housing: Provided
  • Vacation: 3 weeks

Role Overview
Leads all Food & Beverage operations across a multi-outlet resort in a remote island market, reporting to the General Manager. This is a financially driven property where performance is measured through data and operational discipline — not solely guest sentiment — so strong command of the numbers is as critical as floor leadership.

Scope

  • 5 F&B operational outlets, including 3 full-service restaurants

Key Deliverables

  • Financial ownership — manage P&L, cost of labor, and cost of goods across all outlets; pull, interpret, and act on financial reports independently
  • Multi-outlet operations — oversee daily execution across all F&B outlets, ensuring consistent standards and profitability
  • SOP implementation — not just document SOPs, but train, coach, and support teams through to full execution
  • Team leadership — manage and develop Restaurant Managers, Supervisors, and the Head Bartender; build a structured, accountable team
  • Reporting & task tracking — maintain rigorous follow-through on action items, deadlines, and operational reporting
  • Trend awareness — stay current on industry and market trends and translate them into actionable recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Proven multi-outlet F&B leadership experience; standalone/independent restaurant experience a plus
  • Strong financial acumen — comfortable owning cost of labor, cost of goods, and full P&L reporting, not just guest experience metrics
  • Background as a Director of F&B or Director of Restaurant Operations; strong Assistant Directors of F&B with solid financial/reporting fluency will also be considered
  • Experience operating in a remote or island location strongly preferred; Caribbean experience a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce SOPs through hands-on training, not just documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of reliable task tracking and reporting

Client identity withheld pending mutual candidate interest. Full benefits shared upon progression.
