SALARY RANGE - $140,000 - $170,000 DOE. The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the F&B department’s operations, while maintaining profitable F&B outlets and high quality products and service levels. The individual is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce associates’ turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.
Primary Responsibilities

- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Meet food and beverage financial objectives by managing forecast; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Assist F&B Management team in establishing and achieving financial objectives and desire standards of quality food, service, cleanliness, merchandising and promotion.
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer service of the outlets and banquets and recommend new methods of improvement.
- Strategically and tactically drive business output and profitability: food and beverage sales, guest satisfaction and capture optimization and average check.
- Ensure management presence during each shift to ensure appropriate support for team
- Ensure compliance of all food safety, sanitation and HACCP requirements.
- Lead departmental training initiative to ensure compliance with hotels requirement.
- Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing nametags.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Be involved in and/or conduct departmental and hotel training (Adaco, Nuvola, Unifocus)
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
