Director of Food/Nutrition Services

Summary:  Plans, directs and coordinates the activities for the provision of food and nutrition services for UNC Health Southeastern, which includes Patient and Retail Services for the Medical Center.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s  in Dietetics\Food Service Management or related field and 5 years management experience in a  healthcare food service setting. Demonstrated organizational, communication and leadership skills. Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification. Current designation as Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian.

Candidate will be overseeing approximately 60 FTE's, someone familiar with DNV or TJC....the cafeteria is currently under renovation until August, will be brand new, new appliances, etc.   They really want someone from the outside who can offer a fresh perspective on how they can take the department to the next level.

Salary range is $95,000 to around $140,000 ( so probably somewhere in the middle) + relocation + potential companywide bonus for Directors if they meet companywide metrics, which can be up to 15%, .  They also heavily subsidize premiums when employees participate in their healthy living wellness program and they will pay for all medical bills incurred at  paid at 100%.
