Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lna'i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lna'i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. DIRECTOR OF FRONT OFFICE
The Four Seasons Resort Lna'i is looking for a Director of Front Office who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams' have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Director of Front Office leads Front Office operations, ensuring seamless arrival, stay, and departure experiences while delivering exceptional, personalized service consistent with luxury hospitality standards. This role drives operational excellence, team development, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance guest satisfaction, foster employee engagement, and uphold the resort's commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and develop Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge, and Communications/PBX teams through recruitment, training, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with service standards, operational goals, and company culture
Oversee departmental financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, inventory control, and compliance with financial, credit, billing, cash handling, and audit procedures to maximize profitability and operational efficiency
Maintain a visible leadership presence, fostering relationships with VIP, repeat, and new guests while driving exceptional service, guest loyalty, and overall satisfaction
Partner closely with Resort Operations, Transportation, Lana'i Air, Sales, Catering, and Pre-Arrival teams to coordinate arrivals, departures, room assignments, billing requirements, and special guest arrangements, ensuring a seamless end-to-end guest experience
Resolve guest concerns and service challenges with professionalism and urgency, providing thoughtful solutions, personalized follow-up, and exceptional hospitality while serving as a key escalation point for complex issues
Monitor daily arrivals, VIP guests, return guests, and group business to ensure special requests, preferences, and accommodations are executed accurately and consistently to the highest standards of service

WHAT TO BRING
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L-1 Visa sponsorship)
The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.
Hawaii Driver's License and Hawaii Driver's Abstract is required for this role
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Knowledge of Front Desk, Guest Services, and Concierge operations, with prior Managerial experience
