The Elevator Pitch
At Evolv, we're helping redefine how public spaces approach safety. Trusted by schools, hospitals, entertainment venues, sports stadiums, and other organizations across the country, our technology is helping communities create safer environments while preserving the welcoming experiences people expect.
As Director of Government Affairs, you will define and lead Evolv's state government-affairs strategy, advancing evidence-based policies, standards, and funding pathways that help schools strengthen safety and determine where advanced weapons screening can play an appropriate role. You will establish the state-by-state strategy, map legislative and regulatory opportunities, cultivate trusted relationships with policymakers and public-sector leaders, and build coalitions capable of moving shared policy priorities forward.
Beginning with a focused group of priority states, you will lead campaigns from strategy development through legislative or regulatory advancement, advise senior leadership on policy opportunities and risks, and select and direct outside government-relations partners where they can accelerate progress.
