Luxury Resort • Caribbean • USD $4,500 - $5,000 gross per month + Service Charge

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Director of Housekeeping for a luxury resort in the Caribbean. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations across guest rooms, villas, public areas, and laundry, ensuring consistently exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and manage all Housekeeping operations to the highest luxury standards across rooms, villas, and public areas
  • Develop, inspire, and manage a large housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management across the department
  • Manage departmental budgets, linen and amenity inventory, and cost controls
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain and elevate standards
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest arrivals and room readiness
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all areas
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across housekeeping processes and service delivery

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or Executive Housekeeper within a luxury hotel or resort
  • Caribbean experience is preferred
  • Remote island or resort experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, develop, and motivate a diverse team
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to luxury standards
  • Solid understanding of housekeeping operations, linen management, and budget control
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic resort environment

 

WHAT'S OFFERED
