Director of Human Resources

Position Overview

A well-established, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to leadand oversee all aspects of the HR function. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy while ensuring the day-to-day operations of the department run efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring significant healthcare HR leadership experience, experience managing an HR team, and strong expertise in employee relations, compliance, and organizational leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • 5+ years in an HR leadership role
  • Healthcare industry experience required
  • Experience leading HR within a multi-site organization
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Human Resources operations across the organization
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policies
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the HR team
  • Partner with executive leadership to support organizational goals and workforce planning
  • Oversee recruiting strategy and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
  • Lead employee investigations and resolve complex workplace issues
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational performance
  • Maintain and enhance HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Utilize HR data and reporting to support strategic decision-making

Must-Haves

  • Human Resources leadership experience
