Key Responsibilities for the Director of Human Resources:
• Lead the company's overall HR strategy, policies, and people initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
• Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives.
• Manage HR operations, systems, reporting, and HR team performance.
Qualifications for the Director of Human Resources:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within construction, manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, and compliance.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
