Job Summary: As a member of the resort leadership team reporting to the GM/President, the Director of Human Resources leads and executes all human resources functions at Eldora Mountain Resort. This role oversees employee relations, safety, performance management, employee engagement, recruiting, retention, labor relations, and staff development, ensuring alignment with resort strategy and full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position plays a key role in shaping a high-performing, guest-focused culture, partnering closely with the Executive Team to drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and deliver exceptional internal and external guest service.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or advanced certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
7-10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience leading HR strategy and operations in a fast-paced, seasonal, or hospitality-driven environment preferred
Strong background in employee relations, labor relations, and compliance, including working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement, culture initiatives, and organizational development efforts
Experience managing recruiting, retention strategies, and workforce planning at scale
Proven ability to partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business goals
Experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Must have strong ability to adapt to constantly changing circumstances.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
Must be at least 18 years old to operate company vehicles.
Ability to pass background check to company standards
