Director of Human Resources

Greater Sandusky Area - up to $130k

Are you a strategic HR leader who enjoys building strong teams, developing leaders, and creating a positive workplace culture?

A growing, well-established manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead all aspects of the HR function. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact while partnering directly with executive leadership in a collaborative, people-first environment. This is an onsite role with less than 200 employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead HR strategy and organizational development initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and succession planning
  • Oversee payroll, HRIS, benefits, compliance, and employee relations
  • Drive recruiting, onboarding, retention, and leadership development
  • Champion employee engagement and company culture
  • Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend continuous improvements
  • Coach managers on performance management and employee relations

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience strongly preferred
  • Experience overseeing payroll, HRIS, benefits, and compliance
  • Multi-state HR experience
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching skills
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR) preferred

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR leader who enjoys wearing multiple hats while helping shape the future of a growing organization.

If you'd like to learn more, I'd love to have a confidential conversation.
