    Job Description

    A healthcare facility is seeking a Director of ICU to provide clinical and operational leadership for its Intensive Care Unit. This on-site leadership position is responsible for supporting high-quality patient care, leading nursing teams, and ensuring effective department operations through strong clinical and administrative oversight.

    Responsibilities

    Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Intensive Care Unit.

    Oversee nursing staff, daily department operations, and delivery of patient care services.

    Support team performance through coaching, development, and effective leadership practices.

    Promote safe, evidence-based care while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.

    Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

    Monitor department performance, workflow, and operational needs.

    Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

    Support initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and patient care within the ICU.

    Requirements

    Previous leadership experience required.

    ICU experience required.

    Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.

    Active NM RN License or compact license with willingness to obtain NM licensure after start.

    Ability to relocate within 30–45 days.

    Schedule

    Full-time, on-site leadership position.
