    Description

    Aplin is partnering with a leading industrial construction organization to find an experienced Director of Industrial Quality. This leadership role is responsible for developing and overseeing quality programs across multiple industrial construction projects while leading a team of quality professionals and ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and mentor a team of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) professionals.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management Program.
    • Oversee quality activities across multiple industrial construction projects.
    • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications, contract requirements, and inspection/testing plans.
    • Review and approve quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation.
    • Manage supplier and vendor quality compliance, including material verification.
    • Lead quality audits, investigate non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
    • Analyze quality trends and report key performance metrics to senior leadership.
    • Partner with project teams to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
    • Maintain accurate quality records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
    Qualifications
    • 10+ years of QA/QC leadership experience within industrial construction, fabrication, or engineering.
    • Degree or trade certification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and site quality plans.
    • Strong understanding of construction codes, engineering standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Relevant industry certifications (such as CWB, CWI, NACE, API, ASME, or similar) are considered strong assets.
    • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence teams and senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
