Position Summary The Director of Information Technology & Cybersecurity serves as LMRs senior technology leader and is responsible for all corporate information technology operations, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 GCC administration, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day IT operations while developing the long-term technology strategy required to support continued growth throughout the federal marketplace.
This position will also lead LMRs Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance program and maintain secure environments supporting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

Responsibilities & Duties: Information Technology Leadership
Develop and execute LMRs enterprise technology roadmap. Build and lead the internal IT department. Establish IT policies, standards, and operating procedures. Develop annual IT budgets and technology investment plans. Recommend technologies that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Microsoft 365 GCC Administration Manage and secure the Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud environment including:
Entra ID (Azure AD) Intune Defender Exchange Online SharePoint Teams OneDrive Conditional Access Identity Protection Purview Data Loss Prevention Mobile Device Management
Cybersecurity Serve as LMRs cybersecurity lead by:
Managing endpoint security Vulnerability management Security monitoring Incident response Risk assessments Security awareness training Identity and access management Multi-factor authentication Least privilege implementation Secure remote access
CMMC Compliance Lead all activities supporting CMMC Level 2 compliance including:
Implementation of NIST SP 800-171 controls System Security Plan (SSP) Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) Policy development Evidence collection Internal audits Third-party assessment preparation Continuous compliance monitoring
Device & Asset Management Manage the complete lifecycle of company technology including:
Laptops Mobile devices Printers Networking equipment Software licensing Asset inventory Configuration management Secure disposal
Vendor Management Serve as the primary interface for:
Managed Service Providers Microsoft partners Internet providers Telecommunications vendors Cybersecurity vendors Hardware suppliers Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance.
Help Desk & User Support Provide executive-level and employee support by:
Resolving technical issues Deploying new equipment Supporting remote employees Improving user experience Maintaining documentation Developing knowledge base articles
Compliance Support company compliance initiatives including:
CMMC NIST SP 800-171 DFARS 252.204-7012 FAR cybersecurity requirements CUI handling Microsoft GCC security requirements Software licensing compliance
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. Eight or more years of progressive IT experience. Five or more years leading enterprise IT environments. Experience preparing organizations for CMMC assessments. Experience administering Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High environments. Experience implementing NIST SP 800-171. Experience supporting federal contractors. Strong understanding of:
Microsoft Intune Entra ID Defender Conditional Access Microsoft Purview Networking Endpoint Management Identity Management Security Operations
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications: One or more of the following certifications:
CISSP CISM Security+ Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) PMP Experience supporting DCAA-compliant contractors. Experience managing government cloud environments. Experience supporting organizations holding Facility Clearances.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
What Success Looks Like Within the first year, you will:
Build LMRs internal IT department. Successfully transition IT operations from external providers where appropriate. Establish standardized IT policies and procedures. Complete implementation of CMMC controls. Prepare the company for CMMC Level 2 certification. Improve employee technology support. Develop a three-year technology roadmap. Position LMRs infrastructure to support continued growth.
