    OneTogether Solutions (OTS) is a majority Native-owned and operated healthcare partner for Tribal nations. We develop, manage, and operate opioid-treatment clinics and wraparound health care services to deliver clinical excellence and help save lives.     OTS manages clinics offer state-of-the-art outpatient treatment for adults with opioid use disorders. We have created an innovative model of highly individualized, compassionate care, and we advance science in the field of opioid use disorder.

    Position Overview

    The Director of Information Technology provides strategic leadership for the organization's enterprise technology infrastructure, clinical applications, cybersecurity, vendor partnerships, and digital innovation initiatives. This position serves as the liaison between business operations, clinical leadership, development, finance, and external technology partners to ensure technology solutions support OTS's mission of delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

    This leader develops and executes the organization's technology roadmap, oversees enterprise system implementations, evaluates emerging technologies, and ensures that all technology investments align with organizational objectives and long-term growth strategies. The role partners closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities for innovation, operational efficiency, and scalable technology solutions across existing and future clinic locations.

    Remote position; Colorado, Washington, or California preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • 7+ years of IT leadership experience
    • Experience leading technology initiatives within healthcare environments
    • Strong understanding of healthcare technology, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, telecommunications, and HIPAA compliance
    • Experience managing technology vendors and budgets
    • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technology projects and organizational change
    • Excellent executive communication
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25-30%

    Key Responsibilities - Executive Leadership

    • Develop and execute OTS's technology strategy and multi-year IT roadmap.
    • Advise executive leadership on technology investments, emerging trends, and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Lead technology governance and establish technology standards across the organization.
    • Develop annual IT operating budgets.
    • Collaborate with MSP’s to ensure the technology infrastructure supports the organizational growth and future clinic expansion requirements.

    Vendor & Strategic Partnership Management

    • Serve as executive relationship manager for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), software vendors, telecommunications providers, and technology partners.
    • Review contracts, service agreements, renewals, and vendor performance expectations.
    • Monitor vendor KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • Escalate technology issues and drive timely resolution.
    • Ensure third-party partners maintain compliance with HIPAA, security, and organizational standards.

    Cybersecurity & Compliance

    • Collaborate with MSP to oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Tribal requirements, and applicable healthcare security standards.
    • Monitor security incidents, vulnerability management, and technology risk assessments.
    • Develop policies governing technology usage, access controls, and information security.

    Project & Portfolio Management

    • Oversee technology projects from planning through implementation.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on organizational goals and available resources.
    • Assist with technology planning for new clinic development, acquisitions, and expansions.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Assist the Director of Health Information Systems and the EHR Manager in coordinating system workflows and troubleshooting myEvolv, OpenDental, and integrated peripherals.
    • Represent Information Technology during executive meetings and strategic planning sessions.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of organizational growth and operational excellence.
    • Foster collaboration across clinical, operational, and administrative departments.
    • Promote continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and customer service excellence.

    Hours / Travel

    • Full-time, remote, exempt
    • Typical workload: 40-50 hours weekly
    • Travel: 25-30% travel for clinic and corporate system review and solutions support, clinic openings, vendor meetings, and organizational initiatives
    • After-hours support as required
    • On-call leadership responsibilities
    $160,000 - $175,000 a year

    Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person, by telephone.

    While performing the duties of this classification, the employee works in an office setting where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must also analyze and evaluate situations and adopt effective courses of action.
